09 May A Dapper Brunch
I love the old Harlem and seeing all the changes during this gentrification period makes me feel like there eventually won’t be any old Harlem left. With that being said I love to see when restaurants old and new alike hold on to that Harlem renaissance feeling. On my quest to find that type of vibe for Sunday brunch, my girl Toia told me about Renaissance Harlem! I loved everything about this place from the eclectic patrons, the brick interior walls, minimal artwork and the dapper bartenders. The music was on point and my avocado toast was delish! Overall this place won me over because it created a special feeling. With bottomless coffee refills, tasty food, and good company, I was right where I needed to be. Show some love and visit Renaissance Harlem as it pays tribute one of the greatest neighborhoods in Manhattan.
